1. Online Surveys

Q: How do I participate in research surveys?

A: When a client contacts us with a survey, we then send invitations out to members who we believe MAY qualify for that study. The e-mail will contain a link to the survey and a login code. The first part of the survey traditionally contains several screening questions. If you pass the screening process, as determined by the client, you will then continue on with the survey and be paid.

Q: Do I have to participate every time I am invited to take a survey?

A: No. We encourage your participation, but it is not mandatory. SurveySavvy.com does not discriminate based on participation. Even if you don't participate and your referred friends do, you are still eligible to earn referral income.

Q: How long do surveys take to complete?

A: Approximately 10-15 minutes.

Q: Can children under 18 years of age respond to the surveys?

A: Yes. Our clients are often interested in knowing the views of consumers under 18 years old. Our parental permission letter gives adults the choice to allow their minor children to respond to particular surveys. To learn more about member security, see our Privacy policy.

Q: What happens if I do not have time to finish the survey or if my connection is lost in the middle of a survey?

A: No problem. You can pick up where you left off. Just return to the survey through the same link, and sign in with the same e-mail address and password. However, if the data collection time period ends or the quotas are filled before you finish, you will not be able to access the survey. You will receive a message that the time period to participate has ended.

2. Membership

Q: How do I update or change my personal information, including my e-mail address?

A: From the Members area, you may utilize the Change E-mail Address form to change the e-mail address you registered under.

Q: How do I benefit from being a member of SurveySavvy.com?

A: You help directly influence which products and services are offered in the marketplace. Plus, every time you complete one of our surveys, we pay you cash for your opinions!

Q: Is membership in SurveySavvy.com per household?

A: Yes. Choose one family representative to formally register with us and provide the requested information on the registration form regarding family members. When we have a survey we think another member in your household may qualify for, we will e-mail you with instructions for who we need in the household to participate.

Q: Is my personal information protected?

A: Absolutely. Protecting consumers' privacy is of paramount concern to us. Our sophisticated technology protects your personal information, and that information is never released to advertisers or other third parties. For further information on this important topic, please see our Privacy policy.

3. Getting Paid

Q: When and how do I get paid?

A: Whenever you want to be paid, simply access the Members area and request payment by check equal to or less than the amount you earned.

Please Note: You must process payment on incentives within two years of earning mentioned incentive. Failure to do so will result in a retraction of the incentive amount from your account.

4. Referring Friends

Q: How do I refer my friends to SurveySavvy.com?

A: First, you must become a member. You may do so through our Join page. Next, sign into the Members area. From the Members area main page, find the section "My Referrals." This section contains a link to "Member Invitation." This inner page contains the specifics for what must be included in your e-mail messages when you send them to friends.

Q: Do I benefit if referred friends become members of Surveysavvy.com?

A: Yes. Not only do you provide them with a voice in selecting consumer products and services, but you earn referral income as well. See Refer Friends to learn how you can earn extra cash when friends participate in surveys.

Q: How will I know if my referrals have signed up with SurveySavvy.com?

A: Go to the Members area and click on Member Referrals. This will show you the number of friends that you have referred to date as well as the number of second-level referrals that you have.

5. Registration

Q: Is participation limited to U.S. residents?

A: No. The Join SurveySavvy registration form is fully internationalized for people who live outside of the U.S.

Q: How do I obtain a password?

A: When you click Join SurveySavvy to register with SurveySavvy.com, you will be asked to enter a password. Please select a password that you can easily remember, but that is known only to you. You may change your password at any time by going to the Members area.

Q: Why do you ask personal information when I register?

A: We ask demographic questions such as age, gender, employment and online practices to ensure we have a diverse, representative membership database. We only use this information to group our respondents for inclusion in appropriate surveys. It is kept strictly confidential, and your individual information is never divulged to advertisers or other third parties.

6. Unsubscribing

Q: How do I unsubscribe?

A: We appreciate your participation in the SurveySavvy.com community and encourage you to remain. However, if you would like, you may unsubscribe here. By unsubscribing, you will no longer be sent surveys, but you will still be compensated by the participation of those whom you've referred, and those that the people under you referred (2 levels altogether).

7. Anti-Spam Policy

Q: What is SurveySavvy.com's policy regarding spamming?

A: "Spamming" is the wide distribution of unsolicited e-mail messages or newsgroup postings that advertise a product or service. It is the Internet equivalent of junk mail. Luth Research and SurveySavvy.com never spam; we send e-mail messages to our existing members only. (During the registration process, our members expressly agree to receive e-mail messages from SurveySavvy.com.) Furthermore, no one is authorized to spam on our behalf. Members who attempt to generate referrals through spamming are ineligible to receive any payments for their own participation in surveys or for the participation of any members they referred to SurveySavvy.com. SurveySavvy.com will revoke the membership of any persons who spam, and those persons will be permanently disqualified from any participation with SurveySavvy.com.

Q: If an organization has it's own opt in list to send emails to, is it considered spamming if they refer them to our site through email?

A: No, the organization has the responsibility of maintaining their opt-in lists. This includes adding an opt-out statement as part of the message when soliciting for new SurveySavvy.com members.

Q: If a member that they referred spams others are they protected from any repercussions in regards to our anti-spam policy?

A: Yes, our anti-spam policy protects members in regards to their referral's e-mail behavior. Individual members of SurveySavvy.com are responsible for their own conduct and not that of their referrals. Each case of "spamming" is handled on an individual basis.
